Choir Members - Dingwall Gaelic Choir

Dingwall Gaelic Choir was formed in 1954 and is still going strong over 70 years later.

We participate annually in Scotland’s most prestigious Gaelic Festival, the Royal National Mòd, and have won many of the top choral awards, including the highly coveted Lovat and Tullibardine shield on twelve occasions.

New members are always welcome, regardless of whether you can read music or speak Gaelic. All that we ask is that you can hold a tune and are willing to give of your time to learn the pieces.

The choir is conducted by Ross Brindle and tutored in Gaelic by Mary Morrison.

Rehearsals

  • The choir meets every Tuesday in the Church of Scotland Hall in Muir of Ord at 7.00pm. We are currently competing as Eadarainn, a joint partnership with our friends from across the bridge, Coisir Ghàidhlig Inbhir Nis.
