Choir Members - Aberfeldy & District Gaelic Choir

Aberfeldy Gaelic Choir was formed in 1967 and has competed in the Sheriff McMaster, Margrat Duncan and Lovat and Tullibardine choir competitions. The choir has achieved success at each of these three choir competition levels, winning the Lovat and Tullibardine in 1988 at Glasgow, an enormous accomplishment for the choir. It currently competes in the Margrat Duncan competition.

The choir does not require members to speak Gaelic or read music as full tuition is given in both, with sound files and phonetics provided to assist members in learning the songs. As well as competing in both Provincial and the Royal National Mod, the choir also takes part in other local events and concerts.
